Entwistle Fire Alarm

Tuesday, May 17, 2022 - We just wanted to provide an update that led to a disruption Tuesday morning at Entwistle School. The Yellowhead Fire Department was dispatched to Entwistle School in response to a fire alarm at approximately 9:05am. 

Fire protocols were enacted immediately and effectively to ensure the safety of all of our staff and students. Thankfully, there was no fire. A heat sensor was damaged and tripped underneath the stage. Our day was able to resume as planned after about a 45 minute delay. 

Thanks to all the students and staff, the fire department and PSD's Facilities Services for such a great response. For further information on safety procedures, please familiarize yourself with Division emergency procedures.
